"…I am pleased to open today this exhibition devoted to Freedom, the aspiration for which man's unknown defenders gave and are still giving their lives to the benefit of us all.

We look today to these paintings for aspiration, a vision of a world that the artist through her personal and inner journey presents to us; a world though injured and scared open to the possibility of a better future; a world in which the human spirit can rise above the most severe human rights violations to make a difference for the rights of others. I congratulate the artist for so enriching us...".
